The former Star Academy Administration Building & Auditorium Annex, and 2 Hospital Wings will be Imploded in the near future! Current owners, Mark and Kim Nielsen of Nielsen Enterprises are offering, at online public Auction, the opportunity to attend AND “Push the Plunger” on one of 3 implosions that will raze these historic old buildings! All proceeds will be split amongst the following worthy Custer area causes; -Friends of Custer County Search and Rescue -Operation Black Hills Cabin -Southern Black Hills Realtors for Kids Terms and Conditions: Online bidding on one, two, or three separate “Blasts” will close Thursday December 15, 2022, with the Blasts to happen in the very near future! Each winning bidder may invite up to 3 additional guests to attend. We accept cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express) 3.75% swipe fee on credit card payments. Cash and check payments accepted on settlement day during scheduled hours. After that time, only payment by credit card will be accepted. Wiring instructions can be provided upon request and all wire transfers will be assessed a $10 fee. South Dakota sales tax charged on all items expept currency and titled lots. If you have a tax-exempt license, you must have a current (within the preceding 12 calendar months) South Dakota Certificate of Exemption form on file with Bradeen Auctions or sales tax will be collected. Be prepared to fill one out at checkout. If you cannot attend the settlement in person you will need to print, fill out completely, sign, & mail the following form. Mail the completed form to, Bradeen Auctions PO Box 686 Custer, SD 57730 Original signed form must be received at Bradeen Auctions office by settlement day. No refunds for tax collected if Certificate of Exemption form received after the scheduled settlement. Please plan accordingly. You must contact Bradeen Auctions by phone, email, or in person during the scheduled onsite settlement if payment is other than the credit card used for registration. You authorize Bradeen Auctions to charge your credit card if no contact has been made by the end of the scheduled settlement. Please note the buyer will also be responsible for a 3.75% credit card transaction fee, and handling/storage fees incurred by Bradeen Auctions. Property Settlement & Pickup: All items must be settled for and picked up Friday December 16th between 10:00am & 3:00pm No Exceptions. All payments will be taken only at the Bradeen Auctions Facility Shop (in Trailer), 9 W. Mt. Rushmore Rd. Cash, card and check payments accepted on settlement day during scheduled hours. After that time, only payment by credit card will be accepted. Credit card transactions may be limited by dollar amount, a wire transfer may be required (including a $10 doc fee). As a successful bidder, it will be your responsibly to remove all your items by the given dates. Please plan accordingly and bring the necessary assistance and vehicles/trailers required to load and haul your items. All items must be paid in full prior to loading. You will be required to provide a copy of your paid in full receipt before you will be allowed to remove any items from the property.
