Auctioneers note: The former South Dakota Star Academy has closed and is now in private ownership. The entire property and is being re-developed. This is phase 1 of liquidating and removing many of the structures and related equipment/furnishings.
Inspection: Auctioneers will be on site Thursday July 29 and Wednesday August 4 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. You may also inspect the buildings and larger items at your leisure during business hours. Settlement and removal Friday August 6 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Skid steer loaders will be available Aug. 6 for removal of lighter items. Larger item removal with your equipment or contract with Neilson Construction (onsite). A skid loader will be available on settlement day only to assist in loading small to medium size items. These terms expressly include all buildings, apparatus, and misc. items at or near the Waste Treatment Plant, as well as all other small to medium size items located anywhere on the Campus. PURCHASER UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF REMOVAL. All rights of ownership and removal of these items only, will cease 9:00 pm August 27, 2021, there will be NO exceptions.
Removal terms #2: Upon proper settlement, purchaser has until December 31, 2021 to remove buildings purchased from the premises. At the purchasers option, purchaser may remove in entirely, or Salvage/Demo any items from the building(s). Please leave any remains in a safe manner and in a manner which will not allow any debris to blow away to adjoining properties. These terms expressly include the residential buildings and other structures or buildings that are selling. PRUCHASER UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF REMOVAL. All rights of ownership and removal will cease at 9:00 pm, August 27, 2021.
